WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT

During my years of boudoir work, the most common question I find myself getting asked is “what should I bring with me?” There are sooooo many things I’ve had people bring with them – all of them creative and TONS of fun, but here is my simplified list of the absolute must-haves on the day of your shoot!

Here is my recommended list of what to bring to your boudoir photoshoot!

Your Fave, Cute Bra & Undie Set

We all have one and we all would kill to wear it every damn day, so bring it with you! When you’re wearing that set that helps you feel comfortable but makes you look like the newest goddess of love, that will come through in the photos! Plus, we can always mix and match and play around with a two-piece set and really upgrade your boudoir game!

Lingerie You LOVE

Bodysuits, teddies, slips – whatever it is that you adore wearing, you’re gonna wanna bring it with. You’ve stared at yourself in the mirror when trying on lingerie before, so you know what colors and styles look good on you. But don’t stop at one – bring a few pieces of lingerie so you can change up your look depending on your mood. Who knows, maybe that one bodysuit you weren’t sure about bringing will be the stunner of the day!

Accessorize, Accessorize, Accessorize

There is nothing better for changing your look in a boudoir photoshoot than bunch of accessories. Bring your earrings, your necklaces, lots of shoes, and even your hats! The whole point of the day is for you to have fun and get the shots you want, so if you feel extra sassy in some hoops or love the vibe your favorite floppy hat gives off, then wear it with you and we’ll make some magic happen!

Multiple Clothing Options

While yes, you should definitely bring a few lingerie sets or a few extra bras or pairs of underwear, I’m talking about regular clothes. This might sound counterintuitive, but if your partner has that one thing they love seeing you in – like their shirt or their favorite sport team’s jersey – then bring it with! We can always take more modest shots or get creative with whatever you want to wear.

OPTIONAL: Props, Baby!

While props are totally optional, they’re also totally amazing to have on set! Bringing things you would like to see yourself with in photos, like decorations you can play with or a pair of fantasy wings if you want to play around and make it fun. Hell – you could even bring a damn sword if it makes you feel like the sexy baddie you are! There’s no need to spend a ton of money, so get creative and see what you have lying around the house; you’ll never know what might MAKE the shot!

Most importantly, bring your confidence! Boudoir shoots are all about YOU queen, so it’s important that you’re comfortable and confident in your own skin and really feeling yourself all day long! So what do you say - are you ready?
